Privacy policy
Who we are
Baseline is made by TCI Digital ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@baseline.pro.
What we collect
- Your account. Your name, your work email address, and, if you sign in with Google, the profile picture Google gives us. We use these to sign you in and to show who you are to the people on your team.
- Your company. The company name, who belongs to it and in what role, and its billing status.
- Your projects. What you type and say to Baseline, the drawings you upload, the plans it draws, the estimates, and the files you download. These belong to your company.
- Usage. Which features you use, when, and how much AI work each plan took. We keep this to run the service, to keep it secure, and to understand what it costs us.
- Billing. Invoices and payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card or bank numbers.
Signing in with Google
If you choose "Continue with Google", Google tells us your name, your email address and your profile picture, and nothing else. We use that only to sign you in and to show who you are inside Baseline. We do not read your Google email, files, calendar or anything else in your Google account, and we do not sell or share this information with anyone. Our use of information received from Google follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How we use what we collect
- To run Baseline: draw your plans, price them, and give you the files.
- To run your company's account: who can sign in, invitations, roles, and billing.
- To answer you when you write to us.
- To keep the service working and safe: finding bugs, stopping abuse, and understanding what Baseline costs to run.
- To make Baseline better. When we look at how plans come out, we look at the plans, not at who made them, and we do not use your drawings to advertise.
Who helps us
A few companies do part of the work for us, each only for its job:
- Clerk runs sign-in and keeps the list of who belongs to which company.
- Stripe sends invoices and takes payments.
- Anthropic provides the AI that reads what you describe and draws the plan. What you type, and the drawings you upload, may be sent to Anthropic for that purpose. Under our agreement with Anthropic, your content is not used to train their models.
- Render hosts Baseline and its database, in the United States.
- Google Workspace handles our email.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Where it lives and for how long
Baseline runs on servers in the United States. Your projects stay as long as your company's account is open, or until you delete them. When a subscription ends, your plans stay open to view and download; we keep them for twelve months after that and then delete them. Usage logs are kept for twelve months.
Your choices
- An admin at your company can invite and remove people and can delete projects.
- Write to hello@baseline.pro to ask for a copy of your company's data, to correct something, or to have an account or its data deleted. We answer within 30 days.
Security
Everything travels encrypted between you and Baseline. Each company sees only its own projects. Access to the servers is limited to the people who run Baseline. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong with your data, we will tell you.
Children
Baseline is a tool for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with its date. If a change matters to you, we will email the admins at your company.
